Vacancy for Club Welfare Officer

We are looking to recruit an additional member to our fabulous Welfare Team that oversee any matters relating to the welfare of our young swimmers.  The role would involve handling any welfare related issues in a considered and confidential manner, taking advice from other members of the team as to the best course of action and from our Regional/National welfare advisors if necessary. 

You will be supported in this role by the team and the Club.   Ideally suited to someone with a social services, educational or medical related backgroud but equally open to anyone that feels they may have the necessary skills to lend to the team.    

Our Welfare Team is a group of three volunteers (currently parent volunteers) and you would be supported by the Club through introduction to the role with external courses on Safeguarding and Protecting Children and the Time to Listen course.  This role would require a DBS criminal records check.
